Or how it REALLY looked at Esnes.

The painting below, by Stephen P. Quick, was created by him for "Knights of the Air" by Lieutenant-Colonel David L. Bashow. By most accounts, this is how Bishop's plane actually looked at that time. In this rendition, he is shown having just finished a strafing run at some of Jasta 20's Albatros DIII's, scattering some of the ground crew. I present it here for your viewing.
